Kingston Pickleball Club is a not-for-profit organization committed to developing the fastest growing sport in North America.
KPC is a teaching facility with qualified teaching professionals Ryan Hanes and Deanna Christie. We are committed to teach the game to beginners, intermediates, and advanced players. We organize programming for all skills and abilities, recreational to competitive. There is something for everyone.
Meet the Pros
Ryan Hanes,
Head Professional
Ryan Hanes is Kingston Pickleball Club’s Head Pro.
He is a top-level player with Team Selkirk and a PPR Certified Teaching Professional, PPR Certified Clinician, and is recognized as one of Canada’s leading instructors.
Ryan has experienced a great deal of tournament success with some highlights including:
- 2022 Canadian Nationals: 4.5 35+ Men’s Champion
- 2019 Canadian Nationals: 4.5 Men’s Champion
- 2019 US Open: 4.5 19+ Silver Medalist
- 2018 Eastern Canadian Championships: Gold in Men’s 35+ and Mixed 35
Deanna Christie,
Teaching Professional
Deanna Christie is a Teaching Professional with the Kingston Pickleball Club.
She is a PPR Certified Teaching Professional and has her NCCP Instructor Two Certification.
Deanna is a Fast and Female Role Model, certified Yoga Instructor, and a certified Personal Trainer. Deanna is passionate about furthering and empowering women and girls through sport.
