Please join us in welcoming Michael “Botts” Botterill as our new General Manager, Pickleball Operations & Head Professional!Mike brings more than eight years of experience in pickleball coaching, player development, club operations, programming, events, and member engagement. He brings experience with starting up a pickleball club in Belleville and has also worked with Kelowna and Vernon Pickleball clubs in British Columbia.But that’s not all- Mike brings an impressive high-performance background to the court. Before becoming a pickleball professional, he enjoyed a seven-year career in the Canadian Football League, playing linebacker for the Montreal Alouettes, Edmonton Elks and the Hamilton Tiger-cats. He was also a two-time Grey Cup participant with Montreal. With certifications including NCCP Pickleball Levels 1 and 2, IPTPA Level 1 and PadelMBA Levels 1 & 2, Mike is passionate about helping players of every level improve, compete, connect and enjoy the game.As our new General Manager and Head Professional, Mike will help lead:•Player development and coaching•Instructional programs and clinics•Competitive and high-performance training•Club events and tournaments•Member engagement and community building•Programming and day-to-day pickleball operations Together, we’re looking forward to building an even stronger pickleball community, growing the game in Kingston and creating more opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to learn, compete, connect and have fun.
